Digital Lab Photo and Digital Lab Video

The Digital Lab is located in the UNG building, directly across CAB and close by HG. It consists of workstations for image processing and video editing.

Do you have analog image material (35mm format, medium format, large format, and paper prints up to A4) that you want to digitize and edit? Then our Digital Lab Photo offers you all the possibilities to realize your ideas.

Do you have video material that you want to transfer and edit? In our Digital Lab Video, a FullHD and a 4K video editing station are available to you. Let your creativity run wild!

Prices and Services

You can use the labs as often as you like without further costs. Thanks to the electronic access system with the personal badge, this is possible 24 hours a day, all semester long. Reservation of the labs is conveniently done via the internet.

Please note: The use of the digital labs and the darkroom is permitted exclusively for non-monetary purposes.

Use of the Digital Labs

Membership in SOSETH is a prerequisite for using the labs. You can also become a member outside of the semester.

Before you can use the lab, an introduction is mandatory. In the introduction, we explain all devices and software to you and initiate you into the most important secrets of scanning. On this occasion, you will also receive your personal badge with which you can access the labs.
